Holistic Business Story


In December 2009, I left a secure, high paying job as an accountant to start up Holistic Business Coaching.  Why would I do such a thing?  I did it because I am passionate about helping business owners discover the secrets to business success.  I help them find the answers.  I have a unique skill set that makes a difference to business owners and can transform their lives.
I have been an accountant for more than 25 years.  My previous background was in education, electrical maintenance & construction, manufacturing, retail and chartered accountancy.  I held senior positions in all of these entities and am still a CA in the Institute of Chartered Accountants.  I have given up accountancy as I wanted to do something that would make a real difference in peoples’ lives.

On my own personal journey of self improvement, I took part in many personal growth & development courses and read widely on these topics over the years.  The result was that I got more and more excited about how anything is possible, in the words of Henry Ford, “if you think you can, or if you think you can’t, you’re right!”  The work I do involves helping you just change your way of being to ways that work better for you and help you fulfil your true life purpose.  I recognised the need for business owners to be assisted with this, so I trained as a Life Coach with Life Coach Associates and have just completed a Diploma in Life Coaching.

Finally, the main reason I want to work with businesses, is that I have been a coach of my husband’s business for the previous 24 years.  He started up Kidd’s Cakes & Bakery way back in 1986, it is now a well loved, well patronised and successful bakery, but it was done absolutely the hard way.  I know how difficult it has been for him and how hard it can be to be able to see the big picture of your business and where you want to take it.  I can help business owners work smarter, not harder and benefit from my extensive experience with business.

Last but by no means least, apart from my wonderful husband, I have 3 grown up sons of whom I am very proud, 3 adorable grandsons, with another grandchild on the way.  I truly feel blessed to have them in my life, and I now have learnt the secret of work/life balance so I have time for my amazing family.
